
The American Béla Fleck is considered the best and most innovative banjo player today. Born in New York in 1958, ventured into the banjo compositions ranging from instrumental pop to bluegrass, to jazz and classical music with his band The Flecktones or in collaborations with musicians from a variety of genres. He won 14 Grammys and was nominated for 30, being the artist most nominated for different categories in the history of this award.
